This collection started as a sketch on Q’s iPad — just an idea she had that she wanted to see brought to life. She took something as simple and recognizable as a watermelon and imagined what it would look like through Spade.
From that first sketch came the bright watermelon-pink base, green seed detailing, signature Spade touches, and little beaded accents that give the collection its own personality. What started on a screen is now something you can actually put on.
The SpadeKini features adjustable tie straps, green contrast lining, beaded details, and signature S logos across the top. The matching Spade Trunks carry the same watermelon design with an adjustable green drawstring, signature S on the leg, and Spade detailing on the back pocket. Perfect for couple vacations.
And one thing we knew we could make better — the mesh liner. Nobody really likes those, so we took care of that. The trunks are completely mesh-liner free, giving you a more comfortable fit whether you’re swimming, chilling, or wearing them as part of a fit.
Spade wanted this collection to feel like more than just swimwear. It’s fun, bold, matching, and still unmistakably Spade — a sketch from the iPad brought all the way to life.
